SodaTide Editorial Standards: How We Write, Source and Medically Review These Pages
SodaTide editorial standards are the rules every page here follows. We start from the bottle label, then the seller's brief, then public sources from FDA, NIH, CDC and FTC. Claims appear as claims, never as results. No study of SodaTide was found. A medical reviewer checks each health page, and that seat is still empty.

How we write01
How do we write the SodaTide pages?
We write from the bottle label first, the seller's brief second and public sources third, and we say which one a fact came from. When they disagree, the label wins.
The label we hold prints milligrams (211 mg of chicory root inulin, 100 mg of potato resistant starch and 36 mg of a probiotic blend). The seller's brief said none were printed. We follow the label and say so where it matters. The same goes for storage: the label says to refrigerate for optimal quality, while the brief says to refrigerate after opening.
Each page is built the same way. It opens with a plain answer, adds the numbers, shows what is missing and links its sources. We aim for sentences a middle-school reader can follow, and we do the small arithmetic out loud, such as 211 mg being 0.211 g.
The label
The typed transcript of the bottle is the source of truth for product facts.
The seller's brief
Prices, contacts, the guarantee and shipping. Not proof of results.
Public sources
FDA, NIH, CDC and FTC pages, plus peer-reviewed reviews.
Sources02
Which sources do we trust and how do we cite them?
We prefer government health agencies and peer-reviewed reviews, and every source is linked once per page with its title and year. We never cite the sales page as evidence.
We read each source before we use it, and we keep to the numbers it gives. For example, a review of gut microbiome diets reported small average weight changes with wide variation, and we repeat that, not a bigger number (Kunnackal John 2018, Gut microbiome diet and weight meta-analysis). We do not use sources from memory, and we date the check on each page.
| Source type | Used for | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Bottle label | Amounts, strains, directions, cautions | Prints no CFU count |
| Seller's brief | Prices, contacts, guarantee, shipping | Not a policy text |
| FDA, NIH, CDC, FTC | Safety, labels, claims, advertising rules | General, not about SodaTide |
| Peer-reviewed reviews | What trials of the ingredients show | Trial doses are grams, not milligrams |
| Sales page | Quoted claims only | Never evidence |
| Trial of SodaTide itself | None found | Not available |
Claims03
How do we handle SodaTide's health claims?
We report them as the label's or the seller's words, in quotes, and set an evidence answer next to each. We never say the capsule works, burns fat or is safe.
The front of the bottle says "Metabolic & Digestive Support*", "Supports Appetite Control and Satiety*" and "Promotes Energy Production From Fats*". The asterisk leads to the FDA statement: not evaluated by the FDA and not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. The FDA explains that supplement claims of this kind need no approval before sale (FDA, Structure/Function Claims). That is why a claim on a bottle is not a result.
We also do not compare the label's milligrams with a study dose as if they match. Trials of fibre and resistant starch often use grams a day, and the capsule prints milligrams. That gap neither makes the product safe nor unsafe. It means study results cannot be copied onto it.
We never claim a cure, never write "FDA approved" and never call anything "clinically proven". We also print no endorsement by a TV doctor or any famous person. We found none, and the FTC has acted against fake ones (FTC, Fake celebrity endorsement case (fake news sites)).
Medical review04
What does medical review mean on these pages?
It means a qualified clinician checks a health page against its sources and cautions before it carries a reviewer's name. That seat is still empty here, so no page claims a review yet.
The byline box on each page shows a fill-in slot, and we do not print a name until a real review is on file. A reviewer checks that:
- every number matches its source;
- medicine and condition cautions are complete and plain;
- no sentence promises a result or advises stopping a prescribed medicine;
- the hidden-drug warning for weight-loss products is present where it belongs.
Review is a check on safety wording, not a test of the product. A reviewed page still cannot say that SodaTide works, because no study of it exists. The about page explains who runs the site.

Customer reviews05
How do we treat reviews and testimonials?
We publish none until a review is matched to a real order. The cards on the reviews page are empty slots on purpose.
The FTC rule on reviews and testimonials bans fake reviews and the buying of reviews (FTC, Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule Q&A). The seller's brief contained sample reviews and a rating, but we cannot verify them, so we do not print them. We show no star score, count or customer name.
When real reviews arrive, we will mark which were matched to an order, publish critical ones next to positive ones and never edit a customer's words. See the reviews page.
Money and independence06
How does this website make money?
It earns a commission when you buy through its order links. It is the information site of a USA Authorized SodaTide Retailer, not the manufacturer.
That link between the site and the sale is a conflict of interest, and we say so on every page. It is the reason we hold our claims to a stricter rule than the sales page does, and why safety text comes before the kit prices. The three prices we show are 2 bottles at $79 each, 3 at $69 each and 6 at $49 each; confirm them on the live checkout. We use no countdown timers, "you save" lines or stock warnings.
Order buttons go to the seller's checkout. Payment, shipping and refunds are handled by the seller's order desk, not by us.
Corrections07
How do we correct mistakes and keep pages current?
We fix an error as soon as we confirm it and update the date on the page. Each page shows when it was last updated, and prices and policies are marked "confirm at checkout".
If you spot a wrong number, a broken source or a claim that reads like a promise, write to [email protected]. The inbox is open Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:00pm ET and handles page questions, typos, privacy and press. It cannot see orders or refunds.
Facts live in one place and are reused across pages, so a correction reaches every page that quotes it. We review pages again when the label, the policy or a cited source changes.
Contact08
Who do you contact about a mistake or a medical question?
Use the website inbox for page corrections, and the order desk for placed orders. Ask your own doctor or pharmacist about medicines.

FAQ09
SodaTide questions people ask
Who writes the SodaTide pages?
The SodaTide label desk, the editorial team of the retailer that runs this site, writes them from the label, the seller's brief and linked public sources. No single doctor is named as author.
Is there a doctor behind these pages?
Not yet. The medical reviewer seat is an empty slot, and no page names a doctor. We will print a name only after a real review is on file.
Do you accept payment to change what a page says?
No. The site earns a commission when readers buy through its order links, and that is disclosed. Nobody can pay to alter a source or a safety warning.
How often are the pages updated?
Each page shows its last update date. We recheck when the label, the guarantee, the prices or a cited source changes.
Why do you quote sales claims at all?
Readers search for them. We quote a claim in marks, say whose words they are and put the evidence answer beside it, so the claim is not mistaken for a finding.
