SodaTide Daily Value: Why the Label Says Not Established
SodaTide daily value is blank on purpose: the Supplement Facts panel prints a dagger and the words Daily Value not established for all three lines. The label prints 211 mg of chicory root inulin, 100 mg of potato resistant starch and 36 mg of a probiotic blend, 347 mg in total.

The dagger01
What is the SodaTide daily value on the label?
The SodaTide daily value is empty. Next to each of the three lines, the panel prints a dagger, and the footnote says a Daily Value is not established.
A Daily Value is a reference amount that labels use to show a percent. For fibre, FDA lists 28 g. It is a labelling yardstick, not a personal target. (FDA, Daily Value on the Nutrition and Supplement Facts labels)
| Line | Amount printed | Daily Value |
|---|---|---|
| Chicory Root Inulin | 211 mg | Not established |
| Potato (Resistant Starch) | 100 mg | Not established |
| Probiotic Blend | 36 mg | Not established |
| Sum of named lines | 347 mg | Not applicable |
Why blank02
Why would a supplement have no Daily Value?
A Daily Value exists only for nutrients that have a reference amount. The label does not say why these three lines have none, and we could not confirm the reason.
The label prints the weights and no percent. It prints no CFU count and no weight for each strain, only 36 mg for the whole blend. The FDA does not approve supplements before sale, so the maker writes the panel. (FDA, Questions and Answers on Dietary Supplements)
Do the math03
How big are 347 mg next to the 28 g fibre figure?
Very small. The three named lines add up to 347 mg, which is 0.347 g, and 28 g is 28,000 mg.
If you counted only the inulin and the starch, 311 mg is about 1.1 percent of 28 g. That is arithmetic for scale. The label does not say these lines count as dietary fibre, so do not read it as a fibre percent.
Build your own day. Type each food and the grams of fibre printed on its Nutrition Facts label. No numbers are filled in for you.
0 g typed so far. The FDA Daily Value for dietary fibre is 28 g on a 2,000-calorie diet (FDA, Daily Value on the Nutrition and Supplement Facts labels).
Fibre that ferments in the gut can cause gas and bloating, mostly when intake rises quickly (Mayo Clinic, Dietary fiber). The label amounts are far below the gram doses used in most trials. Your own numbers stay in your browser tab and are never sent anywhere.

How should you use a panel with no percent?
Use the milligrams and the directions, and leave the rest to your clinician. The label says to take one capsule daily with an 8 oz. glass of water and not to exceed the dose.
- Read the three weights and the strain names.
- Remember that trial doses are usually grams, so a milligram line neither matches them nor proves a risk.

FAQ05
SodaTide questions people ask
What does the dagger mean on the SodaTide label?
It points to a footnote saying a Daily Value is not established for that line. The dagger sits beside chicory root inulin, potato resistant starch and the probiotic blend, so the percent column stays empty.
Does no SodaTide daily value mean it is unsafe?
No. A blank percent says nothing about safety in either direction. We found no test of the product, so ask a doctor or pharmacist if you take medicine or have a condition.
Is there a Daily Value for fibre?
Yes. FDA lists 28 g for dietary fibre. SodaTide prints no fibre line or percent, and its named lines total 0.347 g, so the label gives you no fibre percent to read.
